Privacy
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no scripts, fonts, or images from third-party servers.
There is no tracking here, so there is nothing to consent to and no cookie banner to dismiss.
What the site does
Every page is static HTML. All styles, scripts, and images are served from whoishacked.com itself. The site stores nothing in your browser: no cookies, no local storage, no fingerprinting, no advertising, and no embedded third-party widgets.
Hosting
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub receives the requests needed to deliver the pages to you, which includes your IP address and browser user agent, and may retain them in server logs for security and abuse prevention. This processing is carried out by GitHub, and is described in the GitHub Privacy Statement.
I have no access to those logs and receive no visitor data from them.
Links to other sites
Articles link out to other websites, and the projects page links to GitHub, the Chrome Web Store, and similar services. Once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies. Nothing is sent to those sites unless you choose to visit them.
If you email me at hello@whoishacked.com, I keep the message so I can reply. I do not add addresses to any mailing list, and there is no newsletter.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, and erase personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. Because this site collects nothing, the only data I would hold is an email you sent me. Write to the address above and I will delete it.
Changes
If this ever changes, for example if I add privacy-respecting analytics, I will update this page first and say so clearly.
